August 2003 - Inaugral meeting
The
first meeting of Cambridge SP Adopters brought together
4 people to begin the process of promoting SP locally.
We introduced ourselves and explained what had attracted
us to the SP campaign strategy. An in depth discussion
on how SP will work then took place, focusing on the policy
formation process.
It
was decided that at the next meeting Mike Brady will give
a presentation on this process and participants will propose
possible policies to be included. These policies will be
discussed in turn at future meetings, with an adopter researching
and presenting information or a guest speaker invited.
Leafles
and posters promoting the meetings were taken by all participants.
Mike Brady will contact student groups at the local universities
and colleges with a view to promoting SP during freshers
fairs.
